About the job

You’ll own key people initiatives guiding everything from employee life cycle management and performance to development, total rewards, compliance and HRIS. This role blends hands-on operations with strategic enablement, building and maintaining a high level employee experience working closely together with our Talent Acquisition & Culture manager.

What you’ll do

  • Employee Lifecycle Management from structured onboardings to empathetic offboardings 

  • Manage contracts, payroll adjustments, leave administration, and legal compliance.

  • Act as a confidential advisor, and be a neutral party in employee relations and conflict resolution.

  • Collaborate with managers to keep people compliant, aligned and engaged. 

  • Facilitate performance reviews, career frameworks, and appraisal cycles.

  • Ensure consistent, transparent application of policies across teams.

  • Strengthen a culture of trust, psychological safety,  open communication and retention

  • Oversee the learning and development  and foster a ‘take the lead in self-development culture.’

  • You have 2+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or a similar role in a scaling organization and clear evidence of impact. 

  • You’re hands-on and proactive, you spot what’s missing and take ownership to fix or improve it.

  • You’re empathetic and approachable, with strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the company

  • You work with integrity, and are known as a trusted, neutral presence in conversations big and small.

  • You thrive in dynamic environments, balancing compliance, culture, and people needs pragmatically.

  • Able to work from our Utrecht office 3 or 4 days/week.
