About this internship

This internship is for someone who loves digital products and wants to understand how they're built, shaped, and shipped. You'll sit at the intersection of product, design, and engineering and get a front-row seat to how a feature goes from idea to live product.

What matters is that you're curious, you care about quality, and you want to understand why things work the way they do and what happens when they don't.

If you've ever used an app and thought "this doesn't feel right" or "this could be so much better," this internship is for you.

Job requirements

What you'll be doing

You'll be involved in the full journey of how a feature gets shipped, working closely with product, design, and engineering. This includes:

  • Testing new features before they go live, exploring edge cases and spotting things that feel off

  • Reviewing product changes from a user perspective: does this make sense? Is it intuitive? Does it do what it's supposed to?

  • Writing down what you find in a clear, structured way so designers and engineers can act on it

  • Sitting in on product and design discussions to understand the thinking behind decisions

  • Helping document how features should work, so expectations are clear before testing begins

  • Contributing to how we improve our quality and testing process over time

What you'll learn

  • How a product team works in a real SaaS scale-up, from design to development to release

  • How to look at a product critically and communicate what you find

  • How product, design, and engineering collaborate (and where things sometimes get messy)

  • What quality means in a fast-moving product environment

  • How to document product behavior, test scenarios, and edge cases

  • Where your passion lies, whether that's in design, development, testing, or something else entirely

Who you are

You're someone who cares about how digital products feel and function, and you want to be part of making them better. You are someone who:

  • Is curious about digital products and how they're made

  • Notices details others miss and cares about getting things right

  • Communicates clearly, both in writing and in conversation

  • Is comfortable with ambiguity and asks questions when something isn't clear

  • Is available for a 32-hour internship for a minimum of 5 months from 1 September

What we offer

  • €400 per month internship compensation (based on a 32-hour work week)

  • Hybrid working: collaborating at our Utrecht office Mon, Wed and Fri and hybrid working days available Tuesday and Thursday.

  • Close mentorship from the Delivery & Support Manager and exposure to engineering and product teams

  • Hands-on experience in quality assurance within a high-growth SaaS scale-up

  • Healthy lunches when working from the office

  • Monthly team activities and an annual company offsite
